Vivid Contrast Brings Images to Life
Faroudja DCDi Cinema
Faroudja DCDi® (Directional Correlational Deinterlacing) Cinema video enhancement technology produces exceptional true-to-life images. Designed to eliminate jaggedness, this unique technology combines deinterlacing, noise reduction and sharpness enhancement techniques to create seamless motion pictures. The technology won an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the USA in 2001.
DICOM Mode
This colour mode produces images with clear shadows, ideal for projecting X-rays and other medical images*.
*This projector is not a medical device and cannot be used for actual medical diagnosis.
Practical Versatility Extended Connectivity
Epson’s EB-G6000 series is compatible with a wide range of external devices, and additional ports now include Displayport, HDBaseT and HD-SDI*. Ideal for large venues, HDBaseT can transmit full HD Video, Audio and Ethernet at low cost through Cat 5e/6 cable up to 100 metres.
*Available on EB-G6970WU only
Wide Lens Shift*
Enjoy the ease and versatility of projector and screen placement with Epson's extended maximum vertical lens shift of 67% and maximum horizontal lens shift of 30%.
*Lens shift varies in different models and not applicable for rear projection lens.
Greater Stability with Lens Shift Lock
By sliding the tab above the lens to “lock”, the internal gears that move the lens will be kept firmly in place. This prevents the lens from moving during projection, especially when the projector is installed on a tilt.
Edge Blending
Create more compelling presentations on larger screens by joining multiple images together using two or more projectors. Epson’s edge-blending function allows you to control the brightness of the crossover edges and fine-tune colour adjustments to blend adjacent projections seamlessly together to create one large panoramic picture. EB-G6870 takes it to the next level by allowing black level adjustments to achieve better edge blending for images with darker background.
360° Projection
With Epson EB-G6770WU, you can project images from any angle, so there’s no limitation, whatever the space restrictions.
Extensive Lens Options to Suit Every Space
Epson EB-G6870 offers six optional lenses including the new standard lens and the short throw zoom lens. The short throw zoom lens can zoom up to 1.2x with a throw ratio of 0.64, enabling it to project a 100-inch screen from just 1.3 metres away.
Point Correction
Now you can correct single-projector distortion or multiple-projector misalignment directly on the screen. Quickly fine-tune the images by adjusting point by point from right to left, top to bottom, using a projected maximum 9 x 9 matrix.
Projection on Wide Curved and Corner Surfaces
Fit your projection images perfectly even on non-flat surfaces. Create stunning projections on wide curved surfaces and corner walls, which are ideal for advertisements and marketing promotions.
Split Screen
Display images from two different sources side by side on the same screen for a more effective presentation. In video conferences, for example, images of presentation materials and remote participants can be shown simultaneously.
Stackable for a Brighter Passive 3D Projection
Create high-brightness 3D images on screen using optional 3D hardware by stacking two of the same models in the Epson EB-G6870.
Durable Design
Maintenance Has Never Been Easier
A clever ergonomic design means you can change lamps and filters easily without having to uninstall the projector from the ceiling.
The ventilation for drawing cooling air is equipped with a large high density pleated type filter to prevent airborne dust from entering the projector. The air filter can be easily replaced by opening the side cover.
Longer Projector Lifespan
By combining Epson’s proprietary C2FineTM (Crystal Clear Fine) Technology, inorganic LCD panels and Epson’s optimised cooling system, the Epson EB-G6870 is able to guarantee* 15,000 hours or 3 years (whichever comes first) of long-lasting performance, even for 24/7 continuous usage. They deliver high quality bright images and operate on low noise, making them ideal for meeting rooms, lecture halls, museums and any other venues..
*Under 25°C environment with lamp change.
