THE ECOLOGICAL CHOICE
Make the change from laser printers to inkjet printers and you could do more not just for your business but also for the environment.

Maximum Performance.
Minimum Environmental Impact.

Do more for your business while doing a little more for the environment. Make the change to Epson inkjet printers and see how you can inject higher productivity and lower harmful emissions in your day to day.

Inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), launched in 2015, Epson has adopted the goals that are relevant to our industry. From the ground up, every component is designed and developed by Epson, and we’re ensuring that our technologies are all about greater sustainability. Healing the world, and making it a better place. It’s in the details.

Use Less Power With Inkjet Printers
Our inkjet printers use less power than your average laser printers so you not only save the environment, but you save on cost, too.
Lesser CO2 Generated With Inkjet Printers

The amount of carbon dioxide emitted by laser printers would require up to 8 trees to absorb all that carbon dioxide while Epson inkjet printers need only 1 tree.

Less Replacement Parts Needed With Inkjet Printers

Cut down on the number of parts to be disposed of. Inkjet printers require less parts than laser printers.

How Our Inkjet Technology Makes A Difference?

Our inkjet technology enable us to develop printers that combine economic productivity with environmental benefits to achieve United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Without the use of heat in printing, our inkjet printers consume less power than laser printers. Enjoy lightning-fast printing speed as our printheads do not come in contact with the paper. In addition, the simple mechanism in inkjet printers requires minimal maintenance and fewer consumables, translating into greater business efficiency.

Find Out More About Our SDGs

The United Nations’ launched a series of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 where world leaders made a pact to address social and climate issues. As part of this global effort, Epson is using our original efficient, compact, and precision technologies to drive innovation that provide solutions that address these social issues.

Recognising the importance of both to our business and the world, we’re committed to helping achieve these goals.

As no heat is needed to eject ink onto the paper, little energy is required in printing. In line with our SDGs, Epson inkjet printers use 85% less power than laser printers1 while emitting 85% less carbon dioxide than laser printers2.

Epson’s PrecisionCore printhead technology enables fast, contactless printing which delivers high-quality pages at up to 100 pages per minute*. Economic productivity is further enhanced as our inkjet printers require fewer parts replacement, keeping downtime to a minimum. *applies to WF-C20590 only.

Being green through ensuring that the amount of waste is reduced, Epson inkjet printers use simple mechanism and fewer consumables for printing. In fact, our inkjet printers need 59% less replacement parts than laser printers3.

1. Testing was commissioned by Epson to Keypoint Intelligence-Buyers Lab. Two comparison models were selected from color laser multi-function printers in the 65-70ppm class. Tests were conducted at the devices’ default settings using Keypoint Intelligence-Buyers Lab standard energy consumption test methods. Calculations were based on a weekday workload of 2 x 4 hours printing + 16 hours in sleep/standby mode, and weekend energy use of 48 hours in sleep/standby mode. A total of 69 pages of workload test pattern .doc, .xls, .ppt, .html, and Outlook files were printed 6 times in each 4-hour printing period.
2. Annual CO2 output calculations were based on JEMAI-LCA Pro, Cedar tree CO2 absorption calculations were based on Japan Forestry Agency standards of 8.8kg CO2 per annum per tree.
3. Testing was commissioned by Epson to Keypoint Intelligence-Buyers Lab. Two comparison models were selected from color laser multi-function printers in the 65-70ppm class. Calculations were based on the frequency and volume of consumables and replacement parts required to print 1 million pages (ISO/IEC 24712 test pattern) over a period of 5 years.
